It has allowed us to register all campers for their merit badge session before arriving at camp, making Sunday afternoon into a relaxed enjoyable experience when checking in. BadgeTracker took our on-line merit badge registration to the next level. When we switched to BadgeTracker, our complaints went to almost none. Scoutmasters loved being able to see schedules and make changes right up until camp. We plan to use it this year for adult trainings at camp.

Otetiana Council used BadgeTracker for pre-scheduling merit badge classes at Massawepie Scout Camps. The program was a grest success with our campers. BadgeTracker was very user friendly, wasy to set up and a great tool to offer our leaders to make their summer camp coordination job easier. We offer 44 merit badges and had over 1900 youth in camp throughout a seven week run. The troop merit badge coordinators were able to go on-line 24 hours a day, seven days a week and schedule and change their Scouts merit badge classes. It allowes the Council to have a printed roster prior to each week of camp of what Scouts were taking what merit badges. The Camp Director was in turn able to know far in advance what merit badge classes needed to be expanded due to demand and what staff would be free from less desired classes.

Administrators in our office could control the availability of the program online. Therefore, we were able to shut it down two or three days prior to a new arrival of Scouts and then re-open it for adjustments from merit badge coordinators for Scouts coming in the following sessions. Overall, we were completely satisfied with the program. We intend to use it again in the 2006 season, and into the future. We highly recommend this software to any Council who wants to offer pre-merit badge registration to their Scout troops.
